The Pinball Show Ep 196: Hot Summer Game Releases

The Pinball Show hosts discuss summer game releases and industry trends, including Stern's strategy with Costco home editions, American Pinball remaster pipeline (Galactic Tank Force (Classic), Cirqus Voltaire), Spooky Pinball's Beetlejuice shipping progress and a charitable machine giveaway, and speculation about licensed IP remakes (Tron, Lord of the Rings, KISS, Gremlins). Key debate centers on whether Stern is pursuing a 'shittification' strategy by pivoting to lower-cost home editions and scaling back premium releases.
