#79 RUSH to judgement - The Classic Pinball Podcast
The Classic Pinball Podcast
1 hr 10 min
Summary
Service tales, Rolling Stones mods, and playfield restoration techniques featuring overseas import hacks and clear coat innovation.
George and Dave discuss a service call on a heavily modified Red and Ted's Road Show, detailing eddy sensor issues and overseas import hacks. They cover Dave's Rolling Stones software mods (bonus resets, multiplier fixes) designed to eliminate exploits and increase difficulty, then pivot to John's custom electronics work on classic games and Dave Brennan's roller-applied clear coat technique for playfields shown on his YouTube channel.
Dave starts with Roadshow. Rolling Stones software mod. Dave takes a field trip to (friend of show) Johns house to make some plastics then plays and talks pinball. Another Dave did a clear coat podcast on twitch that is discussed. Finally we get to Rush.
