Williams WPC PowerDriver Board “De rigueur” Bench Analysis, Repair and Test
Summary
Hibler's bench routine for fixing and preventively servicing a Williams WPC power driver board.
Chris Hibler walks through his standard bench-repair routine for a Williams WPC power driver board (-1 configuration), covering preventive part replacement, diode and continuity testing, and a successful fix of torn through-holes on a missing 15,000 uF bus cap that had blocked lamp matrix power. The video is primarily a repair tutorial with his personal methodology rather than industry news.
Williams WPC PowerDriver Board “De rigueur” Bench Analysis, Repair and Test In this video, I describe how I try to be efficient going from the repair bench to the test bench. My triaging of this board did not include buzzing connections across 15,000uf capacitors that somebody might have futzed with in the past. I was also attempting to test a WPC95 MPU at the same time. The middle of the video is a bit uneven.
