We Are Pinball #40 "Where are all the good pinball themes??!"

We Are Pinball episode 40 features Don and Genghis discussing their Patreon community, sponsor Mad Pinball, and a central debate: whether current pinball themes are worse than past years. Don argues the 2025 lineup (Predator, Harry Potter, King Kong, Dune, Evil Dead, Avatar, etc.) represents the strongest era of themes in a decade, while community members claim themes have declined. They systematically compare theme quality year-by-year (2020, 2019, 2018) to test this claim, finding current offerings superior by volume and IP strength.
