Triple Drain Pinball Podcast
2 hr 23 min
Summary
Harry Potter praised but polarizing; Jurassic Park and Kong design deep-dive.
Triple Drain Pinball hosts discuss Harry Potter pinball in depth, with Tom praising it as potentially better than Rush and a top-ten game, while Travis critiques its overwhelming design with eight movies crammed into one game, lack of immersive storytelling, and difficult scoop shot. The hosts also review Jurassic Park and King Kong (Stern), discussing Keith Elwin design philosophy and recent code updates.
Hosts: Joel Engelberth, Tom Graf and Travis Murie Today we recorded with no real agenda and still ended up talking for 2+ hours. Buckle up as we cover Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Cactus Canyon Lyman Sheats Upgrade Kit, X-Men, John Wick, Tom's Microwave, some overall game theory, Evil Dead, DUNE, and a bunch of other pinball talk. There was some tournament talk and strategy sprinkled in there as Tom and Travis prepare for PAPA. Oh yeah, we also set the record straight on some rumors. Thanks for reading this description and for clicking on the show. Enjoy!
