Summary
Stern video adapter mishap exposes internal miscommunication and dealer vs. influencer tension.
Zach Meny and Dennis Kriesel discuss Stern Pinball video output adapter for Spike 2 systems, which experienced internal miscommunication when pre-production samples were shipped to Zach's dealer inventory without executive approval. Zach sold and shipped adapters at $39 before Stern asked him to halt sales; Jack Danger claims the adapters were supposed to be branded under Deadflip and sold at a much higher price. The hosts debate pricing, Stern's internal communication failures, and frustration with public criticism from Stern's spokesperson despite good business relationships.
