Summary

Host shares restoration of inherited 1973 Gottlieb High Hand, debuting it at Portland PDX league night.

Nathan Stellhorn, host of the Lents Pinball Podcast, delivers a short personal episode about restoring and debuting High Hand (Gottlieb, 1973), a machine inherited from his grandfather and used at the Portland PDX Pinball Summer League. He also mentions an upcoming Gottlieb 2 release, the pinball tech Anthony from Ground Control restoration work, and new merchandise. The episode is mostly personal and light, with little industry substance.

From the creator

Robert Vandezande’s High Hand that was purchased at. Bishop Dwenger High School charity auction in 1984 is making its public debut in Portland. Robert is my grandfather and I “inherited” the game when he passed a handful of years ago. Inherited is in quotes because the game was almost given away with a pool table after my grandfathers passing. I quickly scheduled a freight pickup and had the game shipped to Oregon. A lot of history in this machine. I’d love to tell the stories in more detail.
