#128 Pinfest - The Classic Pinball Podcast

George and Dave record a casual podcast episode at a backyard pool party in Virginia, discussing their experiences at Pinfest (a pinball swap meet/dealer show) and Straight Down the Middle: a pinball show in Allentown. They share anecdotes about meeting collectors, restoration enthusiasts, and players; highlight standout games like King Kong, Dune, and various EM machines; and contrast the two shows' vibes: Pinfest being more transactional/dealer-focused versus Straight Down the Middle emphasizing game quality and play experience. The episode touches on restoration projects, game pricing, and casual observations about the pinball collector community.
