The Classic Pinball Podcast

Summary
Dave discusses TV appearance opportunity and pinball industry updates including Chicago Gaming rumor.
Hollywood Dave recounts a television casting pitch from ITV America's Pawn Stars Do America production company, who contacted him as a potential pinball restoration expert for an unpaid segment filming in the Boston area. The offer required 2-week turnarounds on 1990s machines, raised questions about payment timing and contract obligations, and included uncomfortable queries about vaccination status and masking that Dave declined. The conversation shifts to pinball topics including a programmable MPU board (Lizzy/Arduino confusion), the upcoming Allentown pinball event, Rush game accessories ($1,699 topper), and rumors about Chicago Gaming's next game being War of the Worlds rather than Centaur.
Dave had an interesting phone call from Hollywood. He is on a road trip fixing pins. He is everywhere! What’s up Doc? Is Dave Hollywood bound? Recorded in early April just before the Keith Elwin interview.
