I THOUGHT I WAS DONE! More Tweaks, Gloss Black Legs & FREE CREDITS HACK! Allied Leisure Getaway EP19
Summary
Mike Dymus finishes his 1977 Allied Leisure Getaway restoration with a spinner swap, black gloss legs, and a free-credit demo.
Mike Dymus of Pinball Shenanigans wraps up his restoration of a 1977 Allied Leisure Getaway, covering a spinner swap from a donor machine, new powder-coated black gloss legs, and anti-cheat leg-bolt plates that had to be removed to fit longer bolts. He also demonstrates a free-credit trick through the coin mechanism, presented as a staged arcade bit. The episode frames the project as complete, with minor gremlins remaining.
Well, so much for being finished! π I thought the last episode was the grand finale of the Allied Leisure Getaway pinball machine restoration, but apparently, I just can't leave well enough alone! Welcome to **Episode 19 of the Allied Leisure Getaway restoration series**, where we squeeze in a few more tweaks before finally (and hopefully!) calling this project DONE. This time around, we're installing a new spinner that's wonderfully, gloriously, satisfyingly spinny! π We also fit the freshly powder-coated gloss black legs, giving the machine a seriously slick new look. Those shiny black legs really help bring the whole machine together! But before we officially wrap up this restoration series, there's one last little adventure to get into. What if I told you there's a way to get inside the machine and potentially score some FREE CREDITS without playing by the usual rules? π€ Let's just say it involves an anti-security device, a leg bolt hole, and a bit of wire-based ingenuity. Are we clever, are we cheaters, or have we just discovered something we probably shouldn't have? You'll have to watch to find out! π So, join me for one last round of pinball restoration shenanigans as we put the finishing touches on this Allied Leisure Getaway and explore a rather unconventional way of getting some extra credits. **Is this REALLY the end of the restoration?** Only time will tell... but for now, let's call it a wrap!
