Episode 308: IFPA back open for business

Josh Sharpe, IFPA president, announces the reopening of IFPA-sanctioned tournaments effective August 1, 2021, after a 16-month closure due to COVID-19. The decision was based on reaching 60% of the global player base in areas deemed safe to sanction. All 2021 championship series are canceled with collected fees rolled into 2022. Hosts and tournament directors retain flexibility to implement safety measures.
