Summary
French pinball podcast dissects Gottlieb's Genesis and American Pinball denied sale rumor, citing steep sales declines.
A French pinball podcast episode covering the Gottlieb Genesis (1986) and its Metropolis-inspired theme, followed by a discussion of a rumor that American Pinball was for sale, which the company denied in a January 30 press release. Hosts analyze American Pinball weak position (sales reportedly down ~70% in 2023, no major licenses, a single designer, and a crowded market) and conclude a buyer is unlikely, though the denial signals the rumor rattled the company.
