Want to keep the LED lights on inside your Red Bull GDC Eco Large Fridge, even when the room is dark? This simple modification bypasses the ambient light sensor so the cooler's interior lights stay on all the time. The fridge has a light sensor at the bottom that detects the ambient lighting around it. It's designed to make the cooler's lights operate in response to the lighting conditions of its surroundings—for example, keeping the lights on when a store is illuminated and turning them off when it's dark. Since I keep my Red Bull fridge in a dark garage, I wanted the opposite behavior: *the interior LED lights on 24/7, regardless of the ambient light.* ### 🛠️ How to Keep the Lights On 1. *Access the bottom of the fridge:* Remove the four screws accessible from the front of the unit to access the lower compartment. 2. *Locate the light sensor:* Find the ambient light sensor and its electrical connector. 3. *Disconnect the sensor:* Unplug the light sensor from the refrigerator. 4. *Create a closed-circuit connector:* Cut the connector off the sensor side, splice the wires together to close the circuit, and insulate the connection appropriately. 5. *Reconnect the modified plug:* Plug the closed-circuit connector back into the refrigerator's sensor connection. With the sensor circuit bypassed, the fridge's LED lights should remain on regardless of the ambient lighting conditions. ⚠️ *Safety note:* Disconnect the refrigerator from power before opening the lower compartment or modifying any wiring. Verify the connector's wiring and circuit behavior before making changes, and insulate all exposed conductors properly. This modification may affect the refrigerator's intended operation or warranty. ### 📌 Refrigerator Model Red Bull GDC Eco Large Fridge If you have a Red Bull display fridge in your home, garage, game room, or arcade and want the interior lighting to stay on all the time, this modification may be just what you need!
