The Future of Visual Pinball Develpoment - VP v10.8.1
Summary
Mystery Pinball Theater previews an unreleased Visual Pinball 10.8.1 dev build with new folder structure, F12 menu, and Spike One emulation.
Manu of Mystery Pinball Theater shares a walkthrough of an in-development build of Visual Pinball (around 10.8.1), showing a Ghostbusters table, a redesigned F12 options menu, and a new per-game folder structure. He says the build is a dev version rather than a beta and that release naming and timing are unknown. He also claims the build can run Spike One ROM emulation on several tables.
Exciting times ahead for Visual Pinball and its community. Visual Pinball was released in December of 2000. That makes it 25 years old! And it's still innovating and pushing Virtual Pinball forward. Let's take a look at the current (at the time of recording) development on this classic application. New folder stucture, packaging and emulation abilities (did someone say "I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts"). Check me out on Twitch.tv/mpt3k
