Arcade1Up's Big Reveal at San Diego Comic-Con was.....
Summary
Arcade1Up's Comic-Con 2026 reveals mixed: Out Run stand-up praised, Street Fighter II and Return of the Jedi yoke criticized.
Kong's Arcade Rest (host B) covers Arcade1Up's Comic-Con 2026 booth, now operating under parent Basic Fun, unveiling new deluxe and supreme cabinets including Rampage, Golden Tee, NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat 2, WrestleFest, Centipede, Sonic the Hedgehog, and a Street Fighter II supreme cabinet and a stand-up Out Run. The host criticizes the yoke quality on the Return of the Jedi cabinet and finds the Street Fighter II reveal underwhelming, while praising the stand-up Out Run re-release. This is a home arcade (not pinball) video, so it falls mostly outside the pinball KB, though it touches on adjacent arcade/retro home-cabinet markets.
I made my yearly trip to San Diego Comic-Con and stumbled onto the largest Arcade1Up activation I've seen in years. Let's check out their booth as go over thoughts on their 2 big reveals as well seeing Return of the Jedi for the first time. Releasing Fall 2026 for $649.99. OutRun Supreme Series — full-size cabinet with a real steering wheel and pedals, a 19" BOE display, and 5 Sega titles: OutRun, Turbo OutRun, OutRunners, Power Drift, and Rad Rally. Coming to Costco this Fall for $629.99. Music: @WhiteBatAudio Karl Casy @Vector_U
