Summary

2024 pinball year-end review highlights Evil Dead success, John Wick failure, and Barry O's Barbecue as worst theme execution.

Dennis and Tony discuss their recent activities including video games, audiobooks, and pinball in 2024. They cover personal experiences with various games like Callisto Protocol and Marvel Rivals, then pivot to pinball to reflect on 2024 releases including Evil Dead (Spooky), Jaws (Stern), John Wick (Stern failure), Metallica Remaster (Stern success), and critically, Barry O's Barbecue Challenge (Multimorphic) which they consider one of the worst pinball themes ever executed. They also touch on a vague 'Rumor Corner' segment about American Pinball's Cuphead being 'on the line' but not 'on the assembly line.'

From the creator

Pinball: We provide a Rumor Corner but spend most of our time discussing the interesting happenings in pinball during 2024. Video Games: We summarize Star Citizen's funding milestone, talk about early access for Path of Exile 2, the hit success of the Nintendo Alarmo, the death of Foamstars, a handheld PS5, Baldur's Gate still getting content, and No Man's Sky now not being seen as trash via Steam reviews.
