  • Black Knight: Sword of Rage did not sell well and was poorly received by LE/Premium buyers
  • Stern's Insider Connected app had a clunky launch with crashes but has since stabilized

  • Starfield has lower concurrent Steam players than comparable narrative-based single-player games
  • Baldur's Gate 3 is likely to win Game Awards Game of the Year

Notable quotes

Do you think that this is more evidence that they are – obviously, it means they're moving on. Whether they're moving on to not doing anything, period, or moving on to a new game, they've been suggesting for a while that they are moving on to a new game.
Dennis
Back to the Future, much more than Jurassic Park, is tied directly to the characters and the DeLorean as one of the primary characters, as opposed to Jurassic Park, where, let's be realistic, the only real characters in Jurassic Park were the dinosaurs.
Dennis
The game's not very good. A lot of people were very frustrated with how the LE and premium play. I'd say the Pro was received a lot better, except all of the hardcore Black Knight fans get mad at the Pro because the Pro doesn't have the upper play field.
Dennis
I was really only turning to This Week in Pinball anymore to see their deep dives on the new games because I really like the format that Twip takes with the photos and stuff.
Tony
Starfield...it's just not clicked with a lot of people. It's not really – I'd say it's mixed...because of how the travel system and working from system to system in space is, it loses the magic of exploration that we normally associate with a Bethesda game.
Tony
