Beat the Clock is a 1963 Williams game designed by Steve Kordek, with art by George Molentin. A ball that drops into the center Star Hole stays there until the next ball frees it, and then both play at once. It was the first Williams game to lock a ball for multiball that way. While both balls are in play, the clock on the backglass runs on its own until one drains, and getting the hand to 12 lights the side kick-out holes for Special. Williams built 2,100.
